For cleaning companies

One exclusive spot. Warm calls. You only pay when the phone rings.

Carpet Cleaning Report is the independent guide North Shore homeowners read before they hire a carpet cleaner. We recommend exactly one vetted company per territory, and that company pays a flat fee per qualified call. No monthly fees, no contracts, no bidding against four competitors for the same lead.

How it works

We build the audience. You do the work you're great at.

We earn the homeowner's trust first

Thousands of North Shore homeowners find our pricing guides, stain how-tos, and hiring checklists, and join our list for the free report. By the time they ask for a cleaner, they trust the recommendation.

You clear our vetting, and take the spot

Insurance, review history, real customer references, and a mystery-shop quote check. If you pass, you're the one company we recommend in your territory. Nobody else gets those calls.

You pay per qualified call. Nothing else.

Every referral rings a tracked number, so the count is transparent to both of us. $50 per qualified call, billed monthly. A slow month costs you almost nothing, and a busy month pays for itself many times over.

The math

Compare the cost of a call

"Best pick" directories

Around $99 per call, and the lead is branded to the directory, not to you. You're one of several companies the caller is comparing.

Google Local Services Ads

Roughly $45–49 per call, but you're bidding against every competitor in the area, and the caller has zero relationship with anyone.

Carpet Cleaning Report

$50 per qualified call, exclusive to you, from a homeowner who already read our guides and trusts the recommendation. At a $580 average job, closing 1 in 4 returns about 3× what you paid.

Full transparency

What counts as a qualified call

You are billed for: a first-time caller (or form request) reaching you through our tracked number or referral, located in your territory, asking about a service you offer, where the conversation lasts at least 60 seconds or an appointment is booked.

You are never billed for: spam or robocalls, telemarketers and solicitors, wrong numbers and misdials, callers outside your service area, your own existing customers, or the same caller twice within 30 days. Every call is recorded and logged (with the recording disclosure Illinois law requires), so if you ever dispute a call, we listen to it together and the benefit of the doubt goes to you.

This is the same standard we publish to homeowners: we only get paid when we send you a real customer. See our disclosure.

The bar is high on purpose

What vetting involves

Proof on paper

Current liability insurance (we'll ask for a certificate), any certifications you hold, and years in business. IICRC certification is a strong plus, not a hard requirement.

Proof from customers

A review-history audit across Google and Yelp, plus direct calls to real customer references. Patterns matter more than any single review.

Proof in practice

A mystery-shop quote check: honest pricing, clear scope, no bait-and-switch. If your quote practices match your reputation, you pass.

Vetting is free and doesn't obligate you to anything. If you pass, we offer you the territory. If you don't, we'll tell you exactly why, and what would change our mind. Full process: how we vet.
